Bump on the finger- callus or wart ?

Hi I just woke up and was working and I realised that there is this bump on my knuckle, it couldnt be more than maybe 3mm. ( it want there yesterday night). And it seems to protrude but not very much. I mean I can feel a slight bump on my knuckle. I was wondering whether it is a callus or a wart.- there is no black seed in it so could it be a callus? (I've done some research) but it isn't very clear what the symptoms are of both of these skin conditions. Would you be able to tell me. Also I don't have any medical history except when I was 6 I think I had a wart but no other skin conditions. Also my skin has been extremely dry to the point of flaking. It is on the knuckle of my middle finger.
