My father suddenly had a painful sensation while biting a piece of sweet. On examination saw this reddish maroonish bump inside the mouth cheek. What is this? Is this something to worry about? Attached the photo. Only complained of pain after biting.

It's nothing but a cheek bite so no need to worry!
As far as sensitivity is concerned, ask him to use Vantej Toothpaste regularly. Should subside in a month.
