Hi how much time does it take to get recover from acute bronchitis? My father had it and was on medications for 15 days. He is having relief now n also the temp gets subsided. But still as the season changes , he gets a sneeze or two or itching in nose n throatm what could be d reason behind this. Is there any allergic problem he is having?

He seems to be suffering from allergic airway disorder which may require treatment with anti Histamine medicines and steroid nasal sprays along with steroid bronchodialator inhalers for long term benefits. There is no permanent cure for this condition and physical exercises can be of some benefit
