Bronchiolitis
Hello my son is 3days to be 4months old. He caught cold and doctor wrote acute bronchiolitis. He is on the following
1. Swich drops
2. Matrae drop
3.budecort 0.5 nebulization for 15days
4. Levolin 0.63 nebulization for 10days
He has completed 4days of dose of above. Today after checkup In followup, doctor has told that he is doing good, but still 40percent needs to be improved more.. and suggested to continue budecort( twice) and levolin(4 times each of hal ampoule). Should I continue the medicines.

If the child has breathing problems or noisy breathing, then needs admission.
If child is taking feeds well and is not lethargic or irritable, then no need of nebulisation.
If it is bronchiolitis, cough will be occasional but for 2 weeks minimum. Need not necessary to give medicine, if child is comfortable.
Bottle feeding if it is there, then it needs to stop as it may be the reason for prolongation of illness.
