Broken leg
My father age is 66 he suffered broken leg and doctor advised operation but due to some issue anesthesia did not work on my father and as doctors said the liquid which come out from spine area is not coming out of my father spine doctors tried their best and after 2 hrs of try doctor did plaster so my concern is will that be effective at this age and will it have any long term complications please help

This fracture would have ideally needed surgery. If however it was not possible due to medical issues, plaster cast in stable position should be applied for 3 months. Regular check X-rays would be required
