Breathing problems

Asthma is allergy and exercise induced. Frequent nebulization, inhalers etc needed. Does not take part in physical activity because of fear of wheezing. Will this condition imrpove with age? Is it okay for him to do regular physical activity inspite of severe wheezing?

Firstly your child is not alone. 10 percent or more of children have allergic cough or Asthma . Nowadays there is well defined treatment for the condition. Inhaler treatment is the main treatment recommended for it , because it has less side effects compared to oral medication, and can be repeated more often if needed. Using the correct treatment, the child will be able to play all games, will be able to sleep properly, and will not be absent from school often. Please visit your Paediatrician or Pulmonologist , who will advise the correct medication

Hello... Some kids have this exercise induced asthma.. It's better to avoid it.. Because each time he does this asthma aggravate.. Rather than aerobic exercise he can does yoga and breathing exercises like pranayam. With this he gain control over body and mind... Asthma is not curable but can be controlled..
