Breathing problem

Asked for Female, 28 Years

Hi, My newly born baby (25 days ) had sometimes breathing problem specifically during Feeding and oral medication... Sometimes we are afraid of this as respiration breaks in seconds and come after 2 seconds ... Please suggest or I need to go to hospital... Also please suggest remedial home action in such circumstances.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo. You may please give 2 drops of nasal saline drops in both nostrils before every feed . Definately needs to be seen by pediatrician to rule out the possibility of an underlying problem.
