Breathing problem due to bockage of nose

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I have been having breathing issue due to blockage of nose and I can only take breath when I will put otrivin. Without otrivin I cannot able to take breath and from 1 month I m taking this otrivin. My nose became red from in side . It's very irritating. 2 years before I suffered this issue . As I'm allergic I m having continuous running nose issue this time it became serious. I went yesterday to physician she suggested for ent specialist and gave antibiotic.she told it's increased becauseotrivi

There are many causes for nasal obstruction such as deviated nasal septum, chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, inferior turbinate hypertrophy, nasal polyps etc. Treatment depends on identifying cause for your problem. Otrivin should not be used for long term.
