A breast feeding mother needs calcium rich diet. You need upto 1200 mg of calcium a day with vitamin D .
Calcium rich diet is all dairy food . Like milk , curd , butter paneer etc . 250ml ( 1 glass of milk ) gives around approx 250 mg of calcium . If you are not getting adequate calcium during lactation your bones will get weak . So I suggest a good dietary calcium along with vitamin D supplementation 1000 to 2000 IU daily or 60 K monthly.
