Branded lenses vs local lenses
Is there a difference between branded lenses and local lenses(available at any optic shops)? If yes, what is the difference? I have high eye power(-8) so branded ones are expensive. Are they worth the costs? Thank you.

Definitely there is a difference. Quantity of vision doesn't differ but quality differs. The clarity will be uniform throughout in branded ones ,less aberrations and less eye strain or discomfort or headache. For high power high refractive index Glasses are useful ,less weight, easy to wear and less marks over the nose. Material is different 1.59 made up of polycarbonate tough to break byAccidental drop.
