Hello
Give some time for your body to get used to medicine. The symptoms you tell could still be part of your anxiety /panic. SSRI usually take 7-10 days to start giving results so kindly continue the medicine and wait for a week
These symptoms must reduce

Hi,
Starting any new psychiatric medications including antidepressants can initially cause various mild to moderate symptoms like heaviness, drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, sleep issues etc. Most of these issues get settled within couple of weeks of starting. The complaints you are reporting could very well be associated with Escitalopram (Rexipra). One of the reason for this effect could be that you were started on 10 mg dose instead of initial 5 mg.
Next Steps
My advice would be to reduce dose to 5 mg and observe for a couple of weeks. I am sure it will get better and then you can increase the dose back to 10 mg. If such symptoms persist even after a month and are distressing you could discuss with your Psychiatrist for other medication options.
