I am 34 weeks pregnant lobet medicine has been given to lower BP. However doctor has prescribed me betnesol injection twice with the gap of 24 hours. Also my baby weight is 2.6 kg now which high as doctor said. My concern is does these injections induced delivery in some days if yes then my doctor has called me after 7 days also ask me repeat ph profile test in 37 week. Why?

Betnesol is for fetal lung maturity..in case of preterm delivery...it doesn't induce labour
Please follow up properly as high BP in pregnancy can cause complications to both mother and baby
