Boils at same location
I am regularly having boils at the apex of my left butt. The count is now 15-20 times and it takes place at the exact same location every time. I also notice blood coming out from it. Please advise what can be done.

Hello, Most boils are caused by a germ (staphylococcal bacteria). This germ enters the body through tiny nicks or cuts in the skin or can travel down the hair to the follicle. Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface. Once the boil comes to a head, it will burst with repeated soakings. The doctor may prescribe antibioticsif the infection is severe. Consult general surgeon.
