Bloody mucousy stools in baby
Hi, my 6 month old son had been having blood and mucius in his stools which is sometimes green and watery. Our pediatrician prescribed zinc solution for 14 days...he was ok during this period but the pblm showed up once the zinc was stopped. I have now started giving him applesauce and cerelac hoping the watery stools to stop. But no...same pblm again...am at my wits end..pls help..

Please send stool for routine and microscopy and culture. May need antibiotic if there is blood in stool
