Blood while coughing with mucus

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I met with an accident and hurt the area under eye.Swelling is there which is reducing everyday.Visited eye doctor and they confirmed that vision is ok but I am coughing & blood is coming with mucus,4-5 times a day.what should I do?

Usually after facial injuries especially area of nose and sinuses there will be collection of blood in the sinuses which is known as hemosinus. After injury during recovery this blood slowly starts to drain and seen to come out through sputum or nose. You need not worry much about it as it will settle down over few days
