Blood test in 1st trimist
Please specify the blood test required for 1st trimister. Iam in fourth month of gestation right now. Please advise me

get your cbc, urine routine, random blood sugar, tsh, blood group, hiv, hbsag, vdrl. triple markers must be done by 12 weeks.

Hello. You have already crossed 1st trimester. In case you have not seen a gynaecologist till now, I advise to do so at the earliest. A routine check should be done

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Many centres have a package called the ANC profile. You can get that done. Or i would suggest you consult a gynaecologist in person first and then get the tests as suggested by her. If you have any thyroid issues etc, those will also be needed to be done. So for the list of tests, a complete history and clinical check up is required. If you still want to go for blood test directly, You can do, CBC, URINE COMPLETE, THYROID PROFILE, RFT and ultrasound  1st trimester scan. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
