1st trimester
My height is 5'2 and weight is 74. I have conceived 2months back and so this is 1st trimester. What should I do to control breathlessness which I observe sometime. And also how many minutes of walk is safe for me.

Hello, Welcome to practo, I read your query and understand your concern, Usually breathlessness won't occur in 1st trimester of pregnancy, So this could be because of over weight rather than pregnancy... If you are within BMI then total 11kg weight should be gained in whole pregnancy, If you have high BMI then total 7-8 kg should be gained in pregnancy not more than that to prevent breathless and other risk ... For safety do 1 ECG scan... You can continue your daily work till the last trimester and can have daily walk for about 15-30mins... Avoid heavy weight lifting and strenuous work... Keep yourself hydrated take atleast 3 litres of water per day, Have more green leafy vegitables and fruits in your diet, Continue folic acid tablets... Hope this information helps you, Feel free to ask further queries, Thank you!
