Blood sugar level
My fasting sugar level is 72. PP sugar level is 215. I did not take any sugar rich beverage or food. Can the pp level be high when the fasting level is so low?

Yes PPBG can be higher than FBG.HbA1C should be done to establish the diagnosis of Diabetes. If it is more than 6.5% you have Diabetes. You can thereafter talk to your Physician and plan treatment including diet, exercise and medication

Hi, Diabetes is in developing stage ,PPBS is high because of impaired release of 1st phase insulin which is stored in pancrease .Anyway random blood sugar level above 200 confirms diabetes . Do Hb 1 AC test also. Consult physician for further management.
