Blood streaks with green colour phlegm
I am having sore throat and blood streaks with green colour phlegm every day morning only , from the last one week. Visited ENT specialist and he said that I am having granular pharyngitis and prescribed antibiotic, anti allergic and antacid medicines along with betadine gargil. I am using antibiotic from the last 3 days. Throat pain reduced and feeling normal but still the blood streaks in the morning continued.
He didn't order me any tests but this problem is persistent from the last 4 years.
No fever , No cough , No weight loss , No Ear pain , No feeling of lumps in throat, no swelling in throat.Feeling Anxious because of this since I had a medical test for job purpose in a week?

If the throat is congested ( appears very red) some blood streaks may appear especially if you try to forcefully clear it because of capillaries.if it's happening with out any provocation ,ent evaluation is needed.fo you have post nasal dribbling of secretions?any headache, heaviness of the head?

avoid forceful blowing of the nose or throat clearing
avoid very cold food items
continue medication prescribed by the doctor and if it's persisting have a consultation

You need to do a Digital chest xray PA view, Sputum for Routine Stain, C/s and AFB.
Till then continue the ongoing doctors advice.

Any history of cleaning of mouth with tongue blade or fingers in the morning?
Any voice change?
Breathing difficulty?
Nasal bleed?
