I am a smoker from past 4 years and I am experiencing blood sputum sometimes when I spit. What can be the reason for this? Does this require immediate doctor consultation? Please explain me in this regard

Plz consult a chest physician as early as u can. U may need a chest XRAY n a sputum test along with some blood investigations.
