Blood pressure range increases 144 -100
My father check blood pressure today only for routine check up. Blood pressure found 144-100 He has no medical conditions. Age 53. Lifestyle active and daily walking 2 to 3 km. Please suggest me this range is normal or not in this age. Can he starts medicine for control BP or not please suggest

Sir.. Blood pressure has to be measured multiple times to confirm it is high before deciding to start BP medications. It has to be Manish l manually checked by a doctor to be sure. However if it is measured by a machine then chart the readings in different time in the day and consult a local physician.
