Blood pressure medication
My blood pressure is high for quite sometime and fluctuates in minutes going up and down.My heartbeat increases when doctor is about to take the readings..Now after few high readings i have been prescribed bp medicine..Will taking BP medicines at the age of 26 have any adverse effect on me in tge future?

Before starting medicine get ABPM done. ( Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring), a machine will be tied to you , you will be sent home, do your routine activities,machine will record your BP for 24 hrs, if it shows high range BP, then only you require medicine.
