Proper health and no habits. Blood being seen in sputum. Occurred once and after spitting out, no traces of blood again. Happened again after two days, similar to first one. Why is this happening?

In cold, dry winters, nasal mucosa gets congested. If you have a deviated nasal septum, the capillary vessels over the edge of spur could rupture occasionally resulting in blood streaked sputum. Consult an ENT Specialist near you. If you are near Basaveshwaranagar, you could drop in to my clinic to further manage your condition.
