Blood in saliva
Hi, I was gargling with salt water today and saw some very tiny bright red blood strips in my saliva. I was having some acid reflux kind of condition past days and now it is not there. There is no trouble in swallowing, no fever, no change in voice. Blood stains were also just tiny which came only while gargling. Do I need to worry about this?

The blood spots can be due to multiple reasons like maybe some local infection in the gums area or even sometimes due to harsh cleaning of throat and sometimes even due to acid reflux or nasal dryness as well. Not worrisome if just one episode but if it happens again please consult online and avoid taking oily and spicy things for a while and don’t clean your throat harshly don’t try to blow your nose harshly
Next Steps
Consult online
Health Tips
Take steam and put some Saline drops in nose.
