Blood in saliva
Hi dr I inserted my hand in my mouth to vomit as I was feeling really weird But then when I went to spit I got the blood type saliva in my mouth And after inserting my finger I was also feeling like something stuck in my Throat What is it dr Pls help I'm really scared No other health issues I had recently done cbc all normal What is the cause could It be putting too much pressure on throat or could it be my nails hurt the throat area and I got bleeding pls help It was not much in quantity Small specks Pls Reply Pls help Respected dr

There might have been a small mucosal tear on the throat (skin )due to finger nail trauma because of which there must’ve been blood in the saliva.Unless it’s increasing or the sensation in the throat is persisting don’t worry.If it’s increasing please get it evaluated personally .
