Blood , fluid oozing from surgical site
My relative who is 72 years old female had femur operation 7 days ago. 7 days after her operation we are observing blood and fluid from her surgical site. We had appointed a nurse to do the dressing but even after the dressing there is oozing of fluid from the site. What could be the possible reason? How long will it take to heal?

It’s sign of possible surgical site infection. Get a quick consultation with your surgeon and he’ll see the dressings and if needed will send pus c/s sample.
For how long to heal will need X-rays for that
