Sir I am an alcoholic consumer... I take alcohol every day in a week. So can I donate my blood to needy.. Will be it safe for him/her

Hello there.
Blood donation is the greatest donation a man can do.
If you consume alcohol everyday, then you cannot do the great deed.
If you smoke everyday also you cannot donate blood.
Be sober for atleast a week to donate blood.
Do the right thing.
