Blood count increasing

Asked for Male, 28 Years

It was started with a pain in the right corner of abdomen, i have consulted a doctor and he said might it could be appendix. They did sonar test for something and lot of other tests and then told me to do CT scan. I have tested blood and got the result like CBC total count is 19220 and neutrophil is 79 i know it's a bit higher count..so what can i do about it decrease the level to normal.

Hi Pain in abdomen can occur due to certain conditions like Appendix or it may occur due to an infection in the abdomen. High WBC counts indicates more towards the infection. Depending upon the cause, treatment consist of pain relief medications with a short course of antibiotics. Please visit a Gastroenterologist for further evaluation and management.
