Blinking so much
My son Sravan, 9 years old of late had been blinking so many times and keeps rubbing them continuously.. he sleeps from 10-6 and he says his eyesight is fine...but blinking is like really too much...feeling like the eyes are strained a lot... planning to consult tomorrow...still can anything be done to make his eyes feel better...? Please help.

Hello These are suggestive of allergy eye disease 1. Avoid dust exposure 2. Avoid rubbing eyes 3. Cold compresses 4. Use antiallergic eyedrop 5. Use lubricating eyedrop 6 use soft steroid in pulse dose if allergy is severe

Hi therr...I can understand your concern. You are doing the right thing by going for a consultation. Sometimes he could be having some mild refractory error(might be difficult for them to differentiate). Or there might be conjunctivitis or dryness of the eyes, which is causing the itching. So kindly consult a nearby ophthalmologist for further evaluation.
