If you are having this problem only recently with the cold, then it's most probably because of your forced nasal clearing. During a cold attack, the nose gets blocked due to congested mucous membranes and these can bleed if you blow your nose forcefully

avoid force full blowing, do steam inhalation, do not use any nasal drops without doctor's supervision. consult an ENT specialist if the problem persists
