Bleed from rectum
HI A couple of months ago after passing a hard stool I gushed lots of red blood. Every now and then maybe once a year I'd pass a little blood which I just put down to straining or hemorrhoids but this time I had stomach pain quite bad a week earlier not sure if it was related. Anyway I made an apointent with Dr he referred me for colonoscopy. I'm there next week. Im a 33 year old male healthy weight. I'd just like a honest about statistics and if I should be concerned

Hi dear if this bleed is not associated with pain than is generally due to piles and quantity of blood should be more. If this is associated with pain and quantity is less than this is due to fissure. You should avoid constipation, as this is the cause for piles/ Fissure. it's better to get evaluated , a short scopy done to rule out the underline problem.
