Blackheads and whiteheads
I have grade 1 acne vulgaris Which includes of 3-4 pustule and lot of whiteheads and blackheads all over the face. How long should adaplene(0.1%) be used ? Also does it causes purging?

It depends on the severity...Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

It you just started it, use for 3 months. If not there are simpler creams that may give better results. Consult online for a detailed prescription and evaluation.

If multiple pustules are there, adapalene alone is not sufficient. Also I need further details about your skin type for treatment. Kindly consult online with pictures
