Hello Doctors,
My uncle (age 64), was diagnosed with GIST and has undergone total gastrectomy surgery on August 2020. Recently some black spots are showing up on his skin, started with feet and now on face near eyes. Please refer to images attached for reference.
Can you please tell what these spots are what should be our next steps for treatment.
He is currently under below medications:
1) Haem Up
2) Concur 2.5
3) Imatinib 400
4) Shelcal os 500
5) Ecosprin gold 20

Since when is on the treatment of Imatinib ??? Are these lesions new of they are there since Imatinib started ?? Such lesions are known to occur because of imatinib. we could stop the tablet and observe for some time. Please attach all your surgery documents and CT scans/PET scans that you have. I will go through all docs and give a revert. If they do not respond to Stopping of Imatinib, Well have to go with a biopsy from those lesions.
