I have been coughing up thick phelgm for the past 2 months. Nowadays I am noticing that the phelgm contains some black particles in it or it is grey thick sticky jelly like substance. I have no fever and the cough is not persistent. Once only in every ten to fifteen minutes but with phelgm. I can feel the phelgm coming from the lower throat. Non smoker and no fever also. Is it serious?

Other details like about breathlessness, wheezing, evening rise of temperature, blood tinged sputum, recent weight loss?
Habits like gutka chewing or drinking??
Chronic ailments like diabetes??
