Asked for Female, 23 Years

I used to have irregular periods until I started birth control. Now they are much more regular. My doctor told me if I start my packs on a Sunday, I shouldn’t have my period on the weekend by the time my pills are done after the third week. My period usually starts that following Thursday until about Sunday or Monday. So I’m wondering if I should start my packs on a different day so I don’t get my period through the weekend?
