I should be taking the pill for the first time today but I have questions. I heard it can provoke weight gain which I would really like to avoid since I am already struggling with body image. Plus, I do not smoke regularly but once in a while (max. once every 2 months, and not a full cigarette most of the time) is that still a danger considering my grand-mother had thrombose ?

Stay away from cigarettes ,they do have side effects especially if u are genetically prone .
