Birth control
My girlfriend said she has problems with blood clots in her family. And she doesn't want to get on birth control because she thinks she will get blood clots? Are there any alternatives of birth control that won't cause blood clots? And is there a way to test if she has the risk of getting blood clots?

IUCD can be used by her. Or condoms by the partner. There are tests to find out . If we know what kind of blood clot in her relatives she can be tested for that particular.
