Birth control med prescribed for pcos
Can a doctor please help me understand for how long I'm supposed to continue on the Yasmin Tablet, as I am unable to connect to the doctor who prescribed this to me? Yasmin was prescribed to me because my symptoms are suggestive of Pcos. I have completed the first pack of 21 tablets and immediately started on my withdrawal bleeding/period on the 3rd pill-less day. Should I continue Yasmin for 3 months along with the rest of the medications or is Yasmin to be a lifetime medication? Please help me confirm this.

You can take it for 3 months. If you are sexually active and don't want to get pregnant you can use it for a few years. Ocps shouldn't be used beyond 35-40 years.
