I have developed bimaxillary protrusion after wisdom teeth , Although its very mild but still I am very conscious about it, so we have fast braces available in India. I don't want to go for extractions . What would be duration of the braces and do carriere also help?

For mild bimaxillary protrusion, you  also need to get  an xray called lateral cephalogram and consult an orthodontist. If you have spacing in your teeth you do not need to extract your teeth. Braces treatment last for around 1-1.5years. The whole thing revolves around how much space you need to attain acceptable esthetics. It is calculated by correlating Orthopantomogram+ lat ceph+ clinical findings. If you dont have spacing only braces may not give you good results.

Welcome to Practo ,wisdom teeth eruption usually causes some malocclusions which doesn't need any corrections, in case if you need to correct the malocclusion then take an orthopantamogram and verify the condition of the bones and go for orthodontic treatment. consult me for the details thank you.
