hi ! PCOD is one of the most common troubles 8 of every 10 females are facing, which is known due to hormonal imbalance but the main causes would be behind hormonal imbalances like not following regular diet, sleep, and work, being a student definitely there would be strain which you might be facing in the process of going through the academics, which in turn may disturb your food and sleep patterns finally landing you in diseases like this (PCOD, FIBROID,THYROID, etc). you have mentioned that you are diagnosed with PCOD but you didnt give the details of your menstrual changes that you are facing now. what ever it may be definitely PCOD can be cured completely through homoeopathy in the long run, as you have been detected recently you may need a treatment of 1yr to get cured completely. without medication of whatso ever pcod cant be controlled, but can be maintained as it is, as of now if you can striclty maintain, sleep and food patterns under your control with out leading yourself to stress and strain in your daily routine be it be a student or employee or business whatever it is. regarding your wt, you already said you have sedentary life style, which is not an execuse for your weight, if really wish to drop your weight then definitely you need to work out properly with mild medication, only then you can bring your wt under control. but if going for hormonal therapy for pcod, then definitely you will grow more wt and it would be difficult to drop it later, as wt growth is one of the major side affects of hormonal therapy.
