Bilateral cervical lympadenopathy
I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in July 2021...I was having bulging eyes, restlessness, mood swings,and tiredness...now symptoms are under control as of now...but iam having heaviness in my upper neck...and recent Thyroid Sonography shows subcentimeter size lymphnodes noted along both Carotid arteries..thyroid function tests are normal as of now...and heterogeneous echotexture in both thyroid lobes with cyst of 4mm in the right lobe ...what could be the reason behind subcentimeter size lymph nodes??..attaching thyroid ultrasound report....plz help

Although Subcentimetric nodes are not significant, u need to get an fol done and keep a watch on the nodes like if increasing in size or changing in character like hardness, fixity to surroundings.

Subcentimeter nodes are usually not significant. Just keep a watch on your neck for any abnormal swelling in the future. And keep a regular follow up with your endocrinologist.
