Beta Thalassemia Minor
I had Jaundice a month ago and when treating it doctor found out that I have Beta Thalassemia Minor. My Hamoglobin count is always between 7 to 9. Help me to understand it. Is it fatal??? What diet to take??? I love bodybuilding can I hit Gym??? Will taking Folic Acid help??? If I take Folic Acid for long will it have side affect on me??? Please Help Me out I am worried.

Thalassemia minor isn't fatal. Yes you can hit the gym as frequently as you want. Just remember to keep yourself hydrated while workout. Taking folic acid supplementation for a long period isn't asssociated with any side effects.
