Beta blocker (Bisoprolol 5mg)
Advised by a doctor to take Concur 5mg (Bisoprolol fumarate) for frequent APCs of 7.5% load detected in 24 hr holter report. My question is - Can taking beta blocker weaken the heart functionality in long term? Is it possible to leave this after 1-2 month? I am worried about withdrawal symptoms and habit forming nature of the medication. Echo was normal, ECG had few ectopic beats and all other blood tests are normal.
