Being singer Facing probs

I m a singer .I smoked cigarettes for 1and half years.Now m addiction free.but I think I m facing some irritations in my throat while singing for a bit longer & facing shortness of breathing .what should I do ???

Being a singer, you are prone to get Singers nodules on vocal cords, where u may get throat irritation. But breathlessness is not explained. Get examination of your voice box, if everything is fine, then your chest needs to be examined.
