Basal prostatic impression in bladder
Recently USG of KUB of my father gave following report:
- Moderate prostatic hyper trophy noticed
- few irregular bright echoic, small, calcific specks seen in prostate
- basal prostatic impression noted in urinary bladder
Prostate measures 4.6 x 4.6 x 4.4 cms.
Prostatic volume is 49 ccc
Full bladder urinary volume 243 ccc
Post void urinary volume 93 ccc
I am more worried on what basal prostatic impression means? Is it serious?
