Bald patch just above ear
Hello doctor,
I am seeing small bald patch on my head. I don't know why it is so. Do I need to take some specific ingredients or nutrients in food. How effective is castor oil massage in these cases. I don't want to go for any allopathic injection etc.my friend don't have good experience with that. Can you please help me to understand the cause of this based upon your experience and patient you treated .
I will be really thankful if get some suggestion here.
I am using patanjali hair oil and shampoo since 7-8 months . But I guess it started 1 year back...
Please help.

Oil is useless You may be having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down.
