Bad breath can be because of many reasons. if your teeth are not properly arranged, they won't get completely clean by your daily brushing, can cause bad breath. Or if any cavity in your tooth /teeth then again food lodgement and bad breath. If you have severe acidity problem, then also bad breath.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist of your choice and find out the reason and of course go for permanent cure option.
Health Tips
Brush properly twice a day. There are many other options for correction of alignment than regular braces treatment. Ultimately if your all teeth are in proper alignment and you  maintain your oral hygiene daily, then your problem will go.
