Bacterial infection in throat
My husband has bacterial infection in his throat.He is been given anitibiotics and betadine solution for gargling. Can he drink cold milk or buttermilk in such a situation?

He seems to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to continue antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days. He can drink cold milk and buttermilk
