My baby is 4 months old now. She is formula milk fed.
Her birth weight was 3.26 kgs and now she is 7 kgs
She has suddenly given up having her feed to a great extent. She is taking her feed only if she is deep asleep.
She used to take feed every 4 hours regularly having a quantity of 120 ml every feed on an average.
Please suggest what could be done so that she would improve her feed patern.

Check if her nose is blocked and she is having a noisy breathing. Blocked nose prevents infants from taking feeds properly.
Give katori spoon feeding if you have been practising bottle feeds. Feed at regular interval and try to learn the cues given by your baby when she is hungry. Responsive caregiving is the most important factor for proper development of your growing child. You can decrease the feed frequency to 2 hourly feeds of 60ml every time.
