Baby not drinking properly
Hello Doctor,
My baby is 2 months old and is on exclusive breastfeeding but from few days, baby latches on the breast, sucks for 2 seconds and then leaves the breast, keeps doing this till the baby finishes the feed (which is like 5 mins or so)
Also from few days baby doesn't drink milk for like 3-4 hrs. Please advice.Thanks!

Hi.
As babies grow older, the feeding time reduces and duration between feeds increases. This is normal
Next Steps
If baby is cranky/ crying, give colicaid drops
Apply coconut oil around umbilicus and massage in a circular pattern daily for effective feeding.
